Diocesan Youth Fellowship Committee (DYFC)

Youth Fellowship in Church of North India runs at three different levels:-

i. Pastorate - Pastorate Youth Fellowship Committee - (PYFC)

ii. Diocese - Diocesan Youth Fellowship Committee - (DYFC)

The Youth fellowship of Diocese of Lucknow was formed in 1972

iii. Synod - Synodical Youth Fellowship Committee - (SYFC)

OBJECTIVE

1. Spiritual growth: Youth often seek to deepen their relationship with God, develop a stronger faith, and grow in their understanding of Christian teachings and principles. They may engage in regular prayer, Bible study, and attend church services and youth group activities to achieve this objective.

2. Service and ministry: Many youth are motivated to serve others and contribute to their communities. They may participate in various forms of volunteer work, such as helping the less fortunate, participating in mission trips, and supporting charitable organizations.

4. Fellowship and community: Building strong friendships and a sense of community is an important objective for many youth. They may participate in youth groups, Bible studies, and church events to connect with like-minded peers.

5. Discipleship and evangelism: Youth feel called to share their faith and actively engage in evangelism, spreading the message of Christianity to others who may not be believers.

6. Family and relationships: Youth may aim to cultivate strong, healthy family relationships, and seek guidance on dating, relationships, and marriage from a Christian perspective.

7.Education and careers :Just like any other young people, youth often pursue education and career goals while striving to integrate their faith into their professional and academic lives. They may consider how to use their skills and talents for the greater good.

8. Leadership and ministry roles: Youth aspire to take on leadership roles within their church or Christian organizations, becoming involved in ministry, teaching, or pastoral work.

MISSION

The Church of North India as a united and uniting together is committed to announce the Good news of the reign of God inaugurated through death and resurrection of Jesus Christ in proclamation and to demonstrate in actions to restore the integrity of God’s creation through continuous struggles against the demonic powers by breaking down the barriers of caste, class, gender, economic inequality and exploitation of the nature.

To become a youth member of the Diocese of Lucknow, Church of North India

1. One should be member of any church which come under the Diocese of Lucknow CNI.

2. Your age must be between16 years to 30 years.

3. Any other or double churches membership is not allowed.

4. Participation in the activities and events organized by the youth/church is compulsory.

5. One has to submit the Confirmation & Baptism Certificate along with the registration form.
